FAQ

Common Questions

Who is the course for?

Anyone who works with, manages, or makes decisions about AI systems — from HR managers and compliance officers to business owners and team leaders. No technical background is required.

Does the EU AI Act apply to my business outside the EU?

Yes. The Act is extraterritorial. If your AI systems affect EU users or you place AI on the EU market, you are in scope — regardless of where your organisation is headquartered, including the UK and Ireland.

What are the current enforcement deadlines?

Prohibited AI practices have been enforceable since February 2025. Following the May 2026 Omnibus agreement, high-risk system deadlines (Annex III) have been deferred to December 2027. However, fines of up to €35 million or 7% of global turnover are already in effect for prohibited practices.

How long does the online course take?

The self-paced course typically takes 3–4 hours to complete across all four modules. You can progress at your own pace with lifetime access to all materials.

Can the business training be customised for our sector?

Absolutely. The on-site sessions are fully tailored — whether you're in financial services, healthcare, retail, or the public sector. We adapt the case studies and compliance guidance to match your actual AI use cases.

Do participants receive a certificate?

Yes. Every participant — individual or group — receives a SkillWise certificate of completion, which can be shared with employers, clients, or used as part of an internal compliance audit trail.

Don't Wait for a Fine to Take Action

Certain provisions of the EU AI Act are already in force, with additional requirements being introduced over the coming years. Prepare your organisation today.

A message from Nicolette:

"Manual Handling is about more than lifting a box correctly."

My aim is to create a relaxed, practical learning environment where people feel comfortable asking questions, sharing experiences and building habits that protect their health for years to come.

Throughout the course, learners take part in practical demonstrations, workplace-focused discussions and hands-on exercises designed to improve confidence, reduce injury risk and make everyday tasks safer.

We explore not only how to lift safely, but why injuries happen, how posture and movement affect the body, and how small changes in daily habits can make a significant difference over time.

At the end of the training, we spend a few minutes reflecting on what we have learned, discussing how it applies to each person's workplace and identifying simple actions that can immediately improve safety.

The goal isn't simply to receive a certificate—it's to leave with practical knowledge, safer habits and the confidence to protect yourself and those around you.
