Fire Safety Course
Course Aim:
The aim of this Fire Safety Training is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to understand the causes of fire, how to prevent fires, and what actions to take in the event of a fire.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Identify common fire hazards in the workplace

Select and safely operate the correct type of fire extinguisher

Understand and follow the company’s fire procedures
Course Content:

Understanding how fires start (Fire Triangle)

Fire safety legislation and employer responsibilities

Identifying common workplace fire hazards and prevention

Discussion of fire risks specific to the workplace environment

Fire detection and alarm systems
-
Emergency procedures and safe evacuation

Overview of fire extinguisher types and guidance on their correct use

Human behaviour during fire emergencies

Roles and responsibilities of Fire Marshals / Fire Wardens
Certification:
Participants who successfully complete this course and the required assessment will receive a SkillWise Fire Safety Certificate.
