Course Description

This 3-day First Aid Response (FAR) course is designed for workplaces, carers, healthcare staff, and individuals who are required to hold a valid First Aid Response certificate. The course is fully PHECC-compliant and combines clear theory with extensive hands-on practical training, ensuring participants feel confident to respond effectively in real emergency situations. Course content includes: Patient assessment & incident management CPR for adults, children & infants Use of an AED Choking management Cardiac emergencies, stroke & medical conditions Bleeding, shock, burns & injuries Practical scenarios and skills assessment Training is delivered in small groups to allow plenty of individual guidance, practice time, and feedback. Who this course is suitable for: Workplace first aiders Healthcare & care staff Childcare and education staff Sports clubs & community groups Anyone requiring First Aid Response certification On successful completion, participants receive a PHECC First Aid Response Certificate, valid for 2 years. 📍 Location: Lackan Lodge, Ballymurray, Co.
